Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Family Law Attorney with e xperience handling contested family law matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about helping families navigate complex legal issues while working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and SAPCR cases.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and court proceedings.
- Develop effective legal strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Provide clear, practical legal guidance with professionalism and empathy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Negotiate favorable resolutions while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of Texas.
- Experience in family law litigation.
- Experience handling contested family law cases from intake through resolution.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Professional, ethical, and client-focused approach.
