Job Title Home Comfort Advisor / Outside Sales Professional Job Overview Southern Home Services is a residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical company that acquires, owns, and operates businesses across the United States. No prior HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical experience is required—we provide comprehensive training and industry knowledge. Responsibilities Interact and engage with new, current, and former customers, offering solutions to enhance their home comfort. Communicate effectively during in‑home conversations to help homeowners find ways to save on utilities and future repairs while improving comfort and air quality. Conduct follow‑up calls to ensure 100% satisfaction and generate a referral base. Collaborate with service technicians to present and recommend the best equipment and service options for customers’ homes. Complete additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales goals, with a strong track record of results. Outstanding ability to build and maintain trustworthy relationships with customers, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty. Proficient with PC and skilled in using technology sales tools to streamline processes and drive effectiveness. Willing and able to travel to customer locations for in‑person meetings. Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends to accommodate customer needs. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of business‑to‑consumer sales experience (industry experience not required). Strong drive to sell to customers and help solve their needs. Physical Requirements Work while sitting and/or standing at an individual workstation or office. Communicate verbally via phone or other communication devices. Ability to stand, walk, sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use hands to type, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds. Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.
