Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Frederick Fox Title : Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist Department : Accounting Location : Malibu, CA - Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (Friday) Accounts Payable (A/P) : Invoice Management : Match, batch, code, and process invoices daily. Approval Compliance : Ensure all invoices meet internal approval and policy standards. Payments : Issue A/P checks in a timely manner; distribute to vendors/employees. Vendor Communication : Respond to inquiries and reconcile vendor statements. Compliance Docs : Collect and maintain W-9s and Liability Insurance certificates. Ad hoc : Support special projects and additional tasks as needed. Accounts Receivable (A/R) : Tenant Onboarding : Receive lease info, upload tenant/property data accurately. Billing : Create and send monthly tenant billing and statements. Collections : Review aging reports; collaborate with Property Managers on delinquencies. Records & Reporting : Keep accurate documentation for audits and inquiries. Ad hoc : Support special projects and other tasks as assigned. None — This role does not have direct reports. Education : Bachelor’s in Accounting (preferred); equivalent experience accepted. Experience : 2+ years in accounting; real estate experience is a plus. Systems : Strong with Microsoft Office; Yardi software knowledge is a bonus. Technical Skills : High accuracy in financial data entry. Work Ethic : Self-starter, adaptable, able to work independently. Organization : Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking and prioritizing. Communication : Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Professionalism : Interacts confidently with all levels of staff and executives. Ethics : Maintains discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information. Composure : Handles pressure with patience and professionalism.
