CNC Machinist

CNC Set Up OperatorWe are seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Operator to join our vertical milling department. As a CNC Set Up Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machines, including Vertical Spindle CNC Machining Centers and Bridgeport Mills.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate 14 Vertical Spindle CNC Machining Centers with table sizes up to 60 inches.Operate and manage 3 Bridgeport Mills.Utilize virtual machining capabilities for programming from customer electronic files.Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.Ensure precision and quality in machining processes.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Degree in Machine Tool or CNC operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with precision machining services in various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and composites.Why Work Here?Join a smaller, family-owned company that offers a laid-back machine shop environment.
