As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting in Malvern, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

1. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

   • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for various tasks, including but not limited to:
     • Email communication
     • Online application submissions
     • Accessing and utilizing company software and tools
   • During the interview process, candidates may be assessed on their ability to navigate digital platforms and perform basic tasks.

2. Customer Service Experience (B219)

   • Candidates should possess prior customer service experience, which may include:
     • Direct interaction with customers via email, phone, or in-person
     • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
     • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a customer-facing role
   • Relevant experience should be highlighted in the candidate's resume and discussed during the interview.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
