NOW HIRING: Design Engineer Morton Grove, IL $100,000 – $130,000 per year (Based on Skills & Experience) Full-Time | Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Design and develop tooling for new production programs Create full manufacturing process flows including die stages and forming operations Determine sequence and number of die stages for cutting, punching, and forming Estimate tooling costs using material, labor, and subcontractor data Input pricing and sourcing information into ERP system Organize and lead Pre-Design and Process Release meetings Manage subcontract tooling assignments Oversee customer engineering changes and blueprint revisions Maintain design files and CNC program transfers Reverse engineer existing die sets and create electronic prints Support die tryouts and evaluate readiness for production Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred OR Trade school certification or minimum 5 years of die/tooling design experience Proficiency in: SolidWorks AutoCAD Microsoft Excel & Word Strong knowledge of progressive die and forming processes Experience estimating tooling costs Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Work Environment Manufacturing environment with high noise levels Exposure to production equipment and machinery Occasional exposure to oils, dust, and cutting fluids Pre-Employment Requirements Drug screen required Background check required #J-18808-Ljbffr Chase-Professionals
