Operating Room Registered Nurse

Highlights Location: Manahawkin, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Initiate interventions related to patient's change in condition. Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required. Experience: 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program. 1 year of nursing experience strongly preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required. National certification preferred.
