Legal Practice Assistant (Litigation)
Seattle, WA | Hybrid (4 Days In-Office / 1 Day Remote)
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Salary Range: $75,000 – $110,000 annually (May extend up to $115,000 for highly qualified candidates)
Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus typically 2–4%
LHH is working with a growing law firm who is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant to support a busy litigation practice. This is a newly created position designed to support multiple attorneys in a collaborative, high-performing office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize exhibits, hearing binders, and document productions
- Handle state and federal court e-filing (required)
- Schedule depositions and coordinate litigation logistics
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Manage attorney calendars, email, phone calls, and travel arrangements
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with new matter intake, conflict checks, and engagement letters
- Process time entry and support billing tasks
- Respond promptly to client and attorney requests in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of legal support experience in a litigation environment
- At least 2–3 years supporting attorneys at a large law firm strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with state and federal court e-filing
- Strong litigation background (any practice area considered)
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and deadline management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Word skills preferred)
- Experience with iManage strongly preferred (trainable)
- Notary Public status is a plus
Work Schedule
- 37.5-hour work week
- Core hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office / 1 day remote
