Billing Coordinator

Job Description The Billing Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at NOV-Reed Hycalog. As a Biller I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to develop their skills and knowledge in the billing domain, with a focus on learning and consistently performing fundamental billing responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Accurately and timely perform core billing responsibilities as assigned.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of relevant customers, systems, processes, and billing requirements.
- Adhere to established procedures and escalation protocols.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all billing tasks.
- Meet productivity targets and adhere to strict billing deadlines.
- Effectively communicate billing-related issues or queries to the appropriate teams.
- Respond positively to coaching and demonstrate continuous improvement.
- Engage in cross-training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Work towards becoming proficient in performing assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Accurately and timely process freight invoices, POs, and supplies for District needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education is an asset.
- Prior experience in a billing or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A positive attitude and a desire to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
