Accountant I

Position Title: Accountant I About the Role As the Accountant I, you will assist the Assistant Controller with all accounting functions including the completion of month‑end financial statements, review of intercompany transactions, and accuracy in balance‑sheet reconciliations. You will maintain departmental filing systems, prepare and review journal entries, conduct monthly and year‑end closings, reconcile payroll and general ledger, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Passion and expertise in accounting. Desire to help others achieve their potential while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Team player and thought leader. Associate degree in accounting, business administration, financial management, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field. Accurate 10‑key by touch operation. Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills. Sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Valid driver’s license with proof of automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
