Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, ranging from abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, to small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, ensuring to explain the process with compassion and clarity
• Work in tight collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
