Clinical Nutrition Manager
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick Township, NJ, located along the Central Jersey Shore. This 318-bed acute care teaching hospital is designated as a Magnet facility, recognized for excellence in nursing and patient care.
In this leadership role, you will collaborate closely with a team of Clinical Nutrition Managers across the Hackensack Meridian Health system while helping to strengthen and advance Clinicia, Sodexo's global brand for clinical and patient nutrition. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and elevate nutrition services across a large, diverse network.
4 weeks' vacation after 12 months + 3 personal days! 3 weeks' vacation for first 12 months. Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal! Money toward continuing education events! Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!
Responsibilities
- Manage the clinical nutrition program within Ocean University Medical Center
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of RDs
- Provide direct patient care on a variety of units
- Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects
- Provide training and education to the food service staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo's meal service program and menu management system
- Be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital-wide committees
- Ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld

- Registered Dietitian credentials with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base
- Proven supervisory or management experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Experience with Joint Commission/State/Federal and company standards
- A demonstrated passion for enhancing the patient experience and improving outcomes for the populations served

Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
