Join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional outpatient surgical care to our community, one patient at a time!Registered Nurse Endoscopy at Surgi-Center of Central VA:Conduct thorough preoperative assessments, ensuring patients are prepared for surgery both physically and emotionally.Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the anesthesiologist.Monitor patients closely in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), assessing their recovery and vital signs.Provide comprehensive patient education regarding postoperative care and expectations.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth transition between preoperative and postoperative phases.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Assist with the development and implementation of nursing care plans.Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited RN School of NursingCurrent RN unrestricted VA licenseBLS RequiredMinimum of 1-year experience in Outpatient Endoscopy or surgeryPrefer 2 years' experience in a GI settingWhat We Offer:As an organization, one way we care for our communities and each other is by providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverageLife and AD&D coverageAvailability of short- and long-term disabilityFlexible financial benefits including FSAs and HSAs401(k) and access to retirement planningPaid holidays and vacationWho We Are:At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
