Out of the Box Physical Therapy is looking for a Clinical Service Specialist to become the face and voice of our practice. This is an ideal position for a recent college graduate or young professional who is highly personable, organized, tech-savvy, and eager to learn. We are a sports and orthopedic physical therapy clinic that prides itself on delivering exceptional patient experiences through one-on-one care. We believe the patient experience begins long before treatment starts, and this role is critical in creating that experience. What You’ll Do Be the first point of contact for patients in person, by phone, text, and email Schedule patient appointments and manage provider schedules Collect copays and assist patients with billing questions Verify insurance benefits and educate patients on their coverage Coordinate with physician offices regarding referrals, prescriptions, and patient care needs Communicate with our billing company to ensure accurate and efficient claims management Maintain organization of patient records and administrative systems Manage company email and fax communications Assist with social media content collection, posting, and engagement Support community outreach and relationship-building efforts Help identify opportunities to improve clinic operations and patient experience What We’re Looking For More than anything, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate is: Outgoing, friendly, and confident in conversation Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to learn new systems and processes quickly Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and proactive Strong with technology and computer systems An excellent written and verbal communicator A team player who takes ownership and initiative Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (or graduating soon) Customer service, hospitality, sales, healthcare, fitness, or administrative experience is a plus Proficiency with computers, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms Experience with healthcare administration is helpful but not required—we can teach the right person Why Join Our Team?
