We are currently seeking a full-time Automotive Receptionist to join our team in Madison, NJ.Job DetailsSalary: From $18 to $25 an hourJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Madison, NJ 07940Position OverviewThe Automotive Receptionist plays a key role in providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for all customers and callers. This individual will help maintain accurate records, support team success, and contribute to efficient business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet all customers and answer phone calls promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive visitor experience.Protect the legal, financial, and ethical interests of the dealership.File receipts and permits accurately to maintain organized and accessible records.Support fellow employees through effective teaching and guidance to improve service and operational efficiency.Maximize productivity and customer service while controlling costs.Direct customers to the appropriate departments for assistance.Report to work punctually and maintain a reliable schedule.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism, including keeping a neat and safe work environment.Work EnvironmentThis position requires work in a dealership administrative setting, welcoming customers and visitors in person. The role involves sitting, standing, talking, hearing, and moving within the facility, with occasional exposure to weather conditions. The employee may need to lift up to 10 pounds safely.

Job Requirement:Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.At least one year of reception or customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.Strong professional communication skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, talk, hear, and move throughout the facility during work hours.Capability to safely lift up to 10 pounds.Visual ability to adjust focus as necessary.Commitment to operating all equipment safely.
