Details 15-bed LDRP unit with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms Patient ratios follow AWHONN staffing guidelines RN will work in all areas of LDRP Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Will float to the house as a sitter when needed May float to a sister facility 27 miles away when census allows Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active Michigan RN license required Minimum 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and L&D required Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP AWHONN Intermediate or NCC C-EFM certification required (only one needed) AWHONN Advanced certification preferred Required skills: circulating and FHM triage Scrub skills preferred Proof of flu vaccination required for consideration (exemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of signing) Additional Information RN duties include antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nursing, newborn care at delivery, and couplet care Nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns Will be trained to complete newborn infant hearing screens using the ALGO 5 Machine Scrubs are provided Holiday coverage is required, though RTO requests during holidays may be considered based on staffing needs No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the contract Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions Previous internal travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year American Traveler Job ID P-741924.
