Assistant Controller

Assistant Controller $115,000-$130,000 base salary (depending on experience) North Phoenix, AZ (On-site) Vaco has partnered with a growing, well-established company to hire an Assistant Controller as part of its finance leadership team. The Assistant Controller will oversee month-end close, ensure compliance with GAAP, and manage key accounting functions, including AP, AR, and financial reporting. Perks and Opportunities: Growth Opportunities High Visibility to the executive team Responsibilities include: Lead month-end close, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Maintain and enforce accounting policies to mitigate financial risks. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with GAAP. Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and cost accounting. Supervise inventory controls and intercompany transactions for accuracy.
