Responsibilities The candidate will provide anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery or other procedures and will provide consultation before and after the anesthetic procedure. The candidate will be actively engaged in the instruction and/or supervision of medical students, resident physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists. Qualifications MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree Licensed, or eligible for licensure in New York State Completed or soon to complete an ACGME accredited residency program in Anesthesiology Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology Additional Information Tenure/Non‑Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
