The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.Palmdale, CAThis position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.Basic Qualifications:• Manufacturing &/or Production Operations Experience.• Experience with tools, machines, &/or systems used in a production/manufacturing environment along with composite fabrication techniques. • Prior Experience Leading.• Experience with business metrics (KPIs) to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality, safety)•Experience with reading and interpreting process specs and drawings.Desired Skills:• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education• Previous work in a Union environment• Ability to use Lean Manufacturing principles to solve problems. • Experience Microsoft Office applications• Strong written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.• Familiar with SFM (shop floor management)• Ability to self-start and solve problems.• Experience with leading complex composite builds to include layup, bonding core, conical shapes, autoclaves, ovens.Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
