Job Details

This local yard jockey role is based in Moreno Valley, California, and pays $28 per hour. You will move domestic trailers within a facility yard using a yard truck with a hydraulic fifth wheel, with no public-road driving required. This TransForce driving opportunity offers a local assignment with a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule.

Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Local yard work in Moreno Valley, California

What You'll Be Doing

Move and reposition domestic trailers within the facility yard using a yard hostler.
Connect, move, position, and disconnect trailers at designated locations.
Remove and place wheel chocks, connect and disconnect air lines, and place and remove glad hand locks.
Operate equipment with a hydraulic fifth wheel, so manual trailer landing gear cranking is not required.
Perform no-touch yard movements without operating on public streets or roadways.

What You Need

Valid CDL A, CDL B, or Driver's License
6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
