Registered Nurse – Orthopedic/Neuro TraumaShift: 12-hour nightsWeekend requirement: Assigned every other weekendDaily census: ~32Target ratios: 1:5-6Requirements:RN with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience in the last 5 yearsActive RN license (NC or compact pending acceptable for submittal)BLS certificationEPIC documentation experience requiredSkills: Heparin drips, PCA, blood product administration, central/PICC/peripheral line care, IV starts, phlebotomy, wound care, chest tubes, surgical drains, colostomy care, feeding tubesRoles & Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care and interventionsCoordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient managementMonitor patient status and report changes to the healthcare teamDocument patient data and care plans accurately in the electronic medical recordCompliance / Notes:Orientation: 12-hour unit orientation + 16 hours organizational educationUp to 7 days RTO auto-approved for offers (no holidays); no RTO during the first week; must work 2 of 3 major holidaysMust pass EKG testing prior to starting for this specialtyFlu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)Completion of lab/testing within 48 hours after signing is requiredPre-start modules must be completed per facility policyClient DetailsCity: WilmingtonState: NC
