Bring your expertise in special education to a rewarding contract position supporting students near Glendale, AZ! This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about making a difference in high school students’ lives. You'll work with a diverse group of learners, including those experiencing emotional disabilities or requiring additional support with prosocial and self-regulatory skills.

Your role will focus on fostering an inclusive learning environment and collaborating with staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student. You'll initiate and implement special services that align with established federal, state, and district guidelines, directly impacting both academic and personal growth.

Your qualifications:

• Possession of a Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Prior experience with students with emotional disabilities or at-risk backgrounds
• Awareness of students’ unique needs—such as limited English proficiency, exceptionalities, or cultural diversity
• Proficiency in developing and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation
• Training in Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (EEEI), or willingness to participate in staff development
• Commitment to full in-person attendance throughout the academic year (August 3rd - May 21st)
