Lead Accountant

T3 Performance was founded in 2009 and has since grown into one of the leading youth sports companies in the Midwest. T3 offers a variety of youth sports services ranging from performance and sports skills training to club teams and tournaments. T3 took on an investment in 2024 to help with its rapid expansion plans beyond its three locations in northeastern Ohio to other midwestern cities. T3 is hyper focused on not only expanding locations geographically but also continuing to improve its services in order to achieve maximum outcomes for their athletes. We are seeking highly motivated and passionate individuals to join our team that want to: AMAZE our athletes, parents and members TAKE ACTION to take that extra step in everything they do BRING THE JUICE to pass along their positive energy to everyone and anyone that participates or attends a T3 activity T3 is looking for a Lead Accountant that will report directly to the Controller. The Lead Accountant will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for a multi‑entity organization. This role requires a hands‑on professional with deep knowledge of accrual‑based accounting and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance Assist in preparation and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP and help establish internal control policies Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and maintain supporting schedules Assist with payroll processing Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes Assist in coordination with external accountants for audits and tax filings Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Develop and improve accounting procedures, controls, and system efficiencies Required Skills/Abilities: Strong understanding of accrual‑based accounting principles Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel required Experience with multi‑entity or project‑based accounting a plus Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required) Minimum of 3 years of experience We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class. #J-18808-Ljbffr T3 Performance
