Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Operate extraction, scanning, and mail-sorting equipment within a high-volume mailroom. Ensure the timely, accurate processing of incoming mail and payments while adhering to strict compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain mail sort, extraction, and scanning equipment (e.g., OPEX Falcon, OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX MPS 40).

• Receive, sort, batch, and prepare incoming mail for daily processing.

• Monitor machine performance to identify jams, misfeeds, or mechanical issues, resolving or escalating them promptly.

• Conduct basic quality checks to verify the accuracy of processed payments and documents.

• Lift and transport mail trays weighing 10 to 15 lbs throughout the facility.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• strong attention to detail, accuracy, and basic troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to stand, move, and operate machinery in a fast-paced production setting.

• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in a Lockbox, mailroom, or production facility operating OPEX equipment.
