Financial Reporting Assistant

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations. Maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation. Support month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities. Manage and oversee AP, AR, cash activity, and bank reconciliations. Review and reconcile revenue reporting from POS and operational systems. Support accounting operations for hospitality, food & beverage, wellness, and related business units. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and KPI reporting. Support sales tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting. Ensure financial records are accurate and maintained in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of accounting experience, ideally within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or multi-location operations. Strong understanding of GAAP and operational accounting principles. Experience supporting multiple entities or locations preferred. Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with accounting software, payroll systems, and hospitality POS platforms. CPA or CPA-track preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Collaborative and proactive with a problem-solving mindset. Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Operates with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
