Resumen General
Responsable de la instalación, mantenimiento y operación de todo el equipo relacionado con la radiodifusión de señales televisivas mientras brinda apoyo en la reparación, mantenimiento y/o proyectos especiales en las operaciones de producción de televisión en Guaynabo y los sites de transmisores.
Responsabilidades, Deberes y Tareas Esenciales
El deber primordial de la persona que ocupa esta plaza consiste en la ejecución de las siguientes tareas de acuerdo con las políticas, directrices y procedimientos de la Compañía:
- Instalación y reparación de equipos electrónicos.
- Instalación y reparación de equipos computarizados y redes.
- Mantener y manejar sistemas de recepción y transmisión satelital.
- Operar sistemas computarizados de telemetría para transmisión y planta física.
- Operar y mantener generadores en los estudios, Tanques de Diesel, Day Tanks, Transfer Switches, entre otros.
- Operar y mantener transmisores de microondas MRC/Vislink y transmisores de radio teléfono.
- Instalar, reparar y mantener sistemas de antena de recepción satelital y TV por aire.
- Responsable de todas las transmisiones remotas y eventos especiales de WAPA 4.1, WAPA 4.2, WAPA 4.3 y WAPA América.
- Instalar y mantener el sistema antenas Off Air distribución dentro de las facilidades de Televicentro de PR en Guaynabo.
- Trabajar con documentar planos de proyectos del Dpto. de Ingeniería con el supervisor del proyecto.
- Cualquier otra tarea y/o responsabilidad requerida por su supervisor para el funcionamiento del Departamento y del canal.
Requisitos del Puesto
Para desempeñarse con éxito en este puesto, la persona debe poder realizar cada tarea a cabalidad. Los requisitos descritos a continuación son representativos del conocimiento, destrezas y habilidades requeridas.
- Bachillerato en electrónica o área relacionada.
- Dos (2) años de experiencia trabajando para un canal de televisión.
- Excelentes destrezas de comunicación escritas, orales y/o de interpretación en español e inglés.
- Excelentes destrezas de trabajo en equipo.
- Poseer habilidades de organización.
- Pensamiento analítico para el análisis y resolución de problemas.
