Job Description

The HR   Accommodations Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for workplace accommodations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and supporting Raising Cane’s accommodation programs. This role manages the interactive accommodation process, partners with Legal and Crew Relations to evaluate and recommend appropriate accommodation solutions and communicates outcomes to Crewmembers and leaders. The Crew Accommodations Specialist oversees accommodation case management and reporting while maintaining confidentiality and delivering a high level of service.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert on federal, state, and local accommodation laws and Raising Cane’s accommodation programs
• Manage the interactive process for Crewmember accommodation requests and partner with Legal to recommend appropriate accommodations to Crew Relations and Restaurant Leaders
• Communicate approved accommodations and related outcomes to Crewmembers, Managers, and Crew Relations Leaders
• Respond to accommodation-related inquiries from Crewmembers and Managers through the Accommodations inbox
• Track and manage accommodation requests through EthicsPoint
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on accommodation cases and program activity
• Identify opportunities to improve accommodation processes and enhance the Crewmember experience
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate documentation of accommodation cases

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accommodations, employee relations, disability management, or a related HR function
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Self-driven, adaptable, and highly motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience administering leave of absence programs
• Experience with using Workday
• Experience with using leave management software
