Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements definition and solution design across our Market Access portfolio and platform. This individual will partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable, high-quality platform capabilities.

• This role requires strong analytical rigor, advanced Agile execution skills, deep stakeholder engagement, and the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels. The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in evolving our platform from data delivery to integrated, solutions-oriented experiences.

• Location: India (supporting US stakeholders)

Responsibilities:

Strategic Requirements & Solution Definition

• Translate high-level business strategy and product vision into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with clear functional and non-functional requirements.

• Conduct in-depth stakeholder interviews and facilitate structured requirement workshops.

• Develop comprehensive documentation including business process flows (BPMN), data mappings, integration specifications, and traceability matrices.

• Partner with Product Leadership to refine roadmap initiatives and ensure alignment with long-term portfolio strategy.

• Evaluate feature prioritization, technical debt, and enhancement opportunities to maximize business value.

Agile Delivery & Execution

• Own and maintain detailed backlog artifacts within Jira (or equivalent tool).

• Provide ongoing clarification and decision support to engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and cross-team impacts early and proactively drive mitigation plans.

• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring validation against defined requirements and business objectives.

• Drive root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term corrective actions.

Platform & Technical Collaboration

• Facilitate architecture and design discussions to ensure scalability, reliability, and long-term platform sustainability.

• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to define requirements that support cloud-native environments and CI/CD pipelines.

• Contribute to the evolution of reusable platform components and shared services across the portfolio.

• Ensure requirements support performance, security, and data governance standards.

Cross-Functional & Global Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Commercial stakeholders across time zones.

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business audiences and vice versa.

• Support US-based leadership and stakeholders through structured updates and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in product, platform, or SaaS environments.

• Demonstrated expertise in writing detailed requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with minimal rework.

• Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience operating within distributed, global teams.

• Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization such as Kubernetes and Docker).

• Ability to query and validate data using SQL.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for senior stakeholder engagement.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across US–India time zones.

Preferred:

• Experience in pharmaceutical market access, managed markets, healthcare analytics, or payer intelligence environments.

• Familiarity with formulary coverage, utilization management (PA/ST/QL), payer policy interpretation, or claims-based analytics.

• Experience supporting analytics or AI-enabled product capabilities.
