Located near Wilmington, DE, you’ll provide essential services onsite and play a crucial role in fostering students’ academic and social growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid SLP license (please ensure documentation is attached with your application)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare protocols related to SLP practice
• Comfort with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), evaluations, and direct therapy for a diverse range of students
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with SLP clinical fellowship year (CFY) or teletherapy a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language assessment and therapy services to students onsite
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with other educators
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administration about student progress and intervention strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide insights on communication development
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in school-based therapy

Additional Information:Applicants must be prepared to complete and submit an $85 CBC fingerprinting, TB test (unless providing virtual services), Fingerprint Receipt, and Child Protective Registry Check as part of the contractor packet.
