Step into a fulfilling, full-time opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working hands-on with pediatric populations in a collaborative school-based setting. This on-site position is ideal for enthusiastic professionals who thrive in educational environments, and it's open to travel candidates seeking new experiences near Wilmington, DE.

Your skills in pediatric speech-language pathology will help support students’ communication needs and encourage their personal and academic development. You’ll work side-by-side with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized treatment plans that create real change for students facing speech and language challenges.

What You’ll Need:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience or clinical proficiency in pediatric settings, especially schools
  • Skill in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children
  • A strong commitment to collaboration and fostering positive outcomes for students
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability for working with varied caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy services to students
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to student progress reports
  • Participate actively in school meetings and case discussions
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
