Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring ethical and empathetic treatment.

• Employ solution-focused therapeutic techniques to guide clients in overcoming personal challenges and enhancing their emotional well-being.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of clients’ needs, goals, and progress.

• Guide clients in gaining insights into their feelings, thoughts, and relationships while fostering a supportive and safe environment.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you support will come from diverse backgrounds, presenting with a broad spectrum of mental health issues. You will engage with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges among other concerns. Understanding and effectively addressing the unique needs of each client is paramount, as you work collaboratively to foster healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Oregon as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• At least two years of direct mental health counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation of therapeutic techniques and approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with clients.

• Knowledge of contemporary developments in psychotherapy and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing virtual therapy, with proficiency in using telehealth platforms and tools.

• Specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
