Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to geriatric patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate, implement, and delegate patient care; communicate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses; document accurately per policy, respecting patient rights.
- Monitor patient status, review data, identify abnormal findings, and report promptly to the appropriate person.
- Recognize and respond to signs of cardiac, respiratory, or other emergencies; participate in emergency procedures and infection control practices.
- Facilitate discharge planning and patient education; support patients, families, and the care team as needed.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- At least two years of recent acute care RN experience
- EPIC (Epic EMR) experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to unit workflow

Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
