Overview
Registered Nurse - PACU in Templeton, California. Travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital starting 08/24/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,991-$2,072 per week. Guaranteed hours: 32 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days with rotating options (4x8s or 3x12s) and flexible start times (8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 noon).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the PACU for post-anesthesia recovery patients
- Monitor vitals, airway status,-consciousness, and pain control; identify and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and therapies per orders; maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to determine readiness for discharge from PACU
- Manage equipment, monitors, and recovery protocols; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams regarding recovery status and discharge plan

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of PACU experience (recent)
- ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred; must have current Epic EMR experience
- Ability to work a rotating schedule and accommodate start-time options (8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 noon)
