This position will also serve as a liaison with campus partners, vendors and contractors to ensure efficient business operations, compliance with university procedures and effective support of departmental initiatives. In addition, this position will provide backup as needed for procurement processes.Job Description:Coordinate full-time and student employee hiring processes for all Student Housing areasAssists with onboarding students including scholarship processingProvide training and support for departmental time-entry system and payroll systems.Manage office supply inventory and related purchasing needsAssist with year-end damage billing processAssist areas with contracts and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including drafting, editing, routing and coordinating approvals.Monitor contract spending, compliance, and expiration dates; advise department on renewals and terminations.Assist with procurement activities, competitive bidding, and purchasing procedures.Prepare and submit bids, RFPs, contracts, and required documentation to university and state entities, including IHL and ITS.Assist with administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records and documentation.Assist with developing and monitoring departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.Support strategic implementation efforts by collaborating with departmental stakeholders to align operational activities with organizational goals and priorities.Serve as a liaison between the department(s) and internal stakeholders, other departments, and external partners or vendors.Conduct research and analysis to provide recommendations on operational and administrative improvement opportunities.Assist in the development and implementation of administrative policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices.Coordinate and support departmental projects and initiatives, including tracking progress, facilitating communication, and ensuring timely completion.For full consideration, applicants should submit:Cover LetterResumeJob Responsibilities:Candidates must be able to manage their time, anticipate needs of others and work under tight deadlines often managing more than one project at a time.Education Qualifications:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Relevant experience | 3 Years | RequiredCompensation:$51,604.80 - $77,396.80Interview Requirement:Interview Requirements: Any candidate who is called for an interview must notify the Department of Equal Opportunity/Regulatory Compliance in writing of any reasonable accommodation needed prior to the date of the interview.EEO Statement:The University of Mississippi provides equal opportunity in any employment practice, education program, or education activity to all qualified persons.
