Alongside our mass tort and civil rights practice, we maintain a focused personal injury docket covering construction accidents (NY Labor Law §§ 240, 241(6), 200), motor vehicle, premises liability, and slip-and-fall cases. Our team includes seasoned trial attorneys with deep personal injury experience and a track record of multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements.

The Role

We are hiring a personal injury litigator to manage a varied docket from intake through trial or settlement. This is a generalist PI role; motor vehicle, premises liability, slip-and-fall, and construction accident cases; with strong support from senior attorneys and an experienced paralegal team.

What You'll Do

• Manage personal injury matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motion practice (including summary judgment)
• Take and defend depositions; appear at EBTs, court conferences, and mediations
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and lien holders
• Work with medical, biomechanical, and economic experts as needed
• Communicate clearly and proactively with clients throughout the case life cycle

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in New York State, in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
• Solid deposition experience, both taking and defending
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Proficient with legal technology: case management software (Filevine, Litify, MyCase, or similar), Westlaw and/or Lexis, NYSCEF, PACER, e-discovery platforms, and standard Microsoft Office / Adobe Acrobat workflows).

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with New York Labor Law §§ 240(1), 241(6), and 200 construction accident claims
• Familiarity with industrial code violations and OSHA standards
• Trial experience in New York State Supreme Court

Schedule & Location
