Finance Coordinator, System Net Revenue - HYBRID

Job Description Summary Position is responsible for a diverse menu of corporate finance functions, including: Monthly AR Reserve Model calculations (Contractual, Admin, Charity, Bad Debt) and related journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit requests. Annual Net Revenue budget. Preparation of various reports and analyses for review by Senior Management. Liaison with Hospital and OPG Finance Leadership on topics related to monthly close, budgets, accounting issues, etc. Other projects as assigned. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Budget function: Define, coordinate, and communicate timelines and due dates with all entities; monitor progress and address issues; define and communicate the standard budget submission template; develop and communicate global budget assumptions; review and follow up on non‑Central Ohio entities’ budgets; assemble a consolidated budget review package; oversee up to five temporary budget‑FTEs during peak season. Liaison function: Serve as the primary contact in Corporate Finance for non‑Central Ohio finance personnel, fielding questions from Finance VPs, Controllers, and others related to budgets, LRFPs, monthly financial results, capital spending, accounting issues, and external audits; remain familiar with the financial results and issues of these entities. Community Benefit Report: Coordinate preparation of the annual report by collecting data from all operating entities, establishing timelines, guidelines, and formats; present the report to the Board of Trustees and the news media. Accounting Policies & Procedures: Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent, accurate application across all OhioHealth entities; solicit input from entity financial management, corporate finance, and internal and external auditors. Debt Transactions / Rating Agency Communications: Prepare schedules, analyses, and documentation supporting debt transactions, refinancing, new issuances, and communications with rating agencies or other investment community audiences. Maintain AR Model (30% of time): Calculate reserves, monitor payer trends and reimbursement changes, produce reports and analytics. Month‑End Close & Journal Entries (30% of time): Perform balance sheet reconciliations and audit requests. Develop relationships with Care Site Finance, provide education, and present Net Revenue insights (20% of time). Knowledge sharing of Portfolio Net Revenue findings with the System Net Revenue Team to support system‑wide modeling and analysis (10% of time). Other projects as assigned (10% of time). Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization (HRO). Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Required). Five or more years progressively responsible accounting/finance experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of accounting or finance practices.
