Overview Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Willits, California. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Weekly pay: $2,112–$2,186 per week. Key Highlights Location: Willits, California Weekly pay: $2,112–$2,186 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: Nights (3x12-hour shifts) Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform ICU-specific procedures per protocol Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans; document responses and adjust care as needed Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate tasks within the care team Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines; communicate changes effectively Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize care and ensure patient safety Requirements ICU nursing experience (minimum 1 year) required Current, unrestricted RN license in the United States (state requirements per assignment) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; capable of functioning in a high-acuity ICU environment Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; able to supervise and coordinate care across disciplines Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support Fast credentialing processes Extension opportunities when available About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
