For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com.The Materials Engineer designs and optimizes material flows, packaging, and replenishment systems at a Carrier manufacturing facility, supporting the operation with efficient, lean line-side presentation.Key Responsibilities:Designs material flows, picking routes, and line-side presentation systems.Defines packaging, containers, and material handling parameters.Implements pull systems (kanban) and replenishment loops.Supports warehouse design and logistics layouts.Supports NPI launches and production ramp-up activities.Analyzes and optimizes inventory and flow.Strengthen warehouse optimization and line-side material presentation responsibilities.Owns inventory optimization, replenishment performance, and material flow efficiency.Expands expectations around data analytics and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree3+ years of materials-engineering or logistics-engineering experience.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.Preferred Qualifications:Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field.Experience designing material flows, picking routes, and line-side presentation systems.Working knowledge of packaging, containers, and material-handling parameters.Experience implementing pull systems (kanban) and replenishment loops.Proficiency with design and analysis tools for logistics/flow. Experience supporting new production lines.Knowledge of Lean Logistics.Proficiency with design and analysis tools.Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually.
