Location: Hauppauge, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $50-$53 (Based on experience)
Adecco is partnering with a leading Aerospace Manufacturer in Long Island, NY. This is an opportunity for an experienced machinist to work on complex, high-precision components in a highly technical manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, hones, and grinders
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T
  
  
• Perform detailed dimensional inspections using micrometers, bore gages, height gages, indicators, and other precision equipment
  
  
• Run production while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity standards
  
  
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements
  
  
• Create, repair, and maintain tooling, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools
  
  
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and NPI teams

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of machining experience
  
  
• 3+ years of CNC setup and production experience
  
  
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
  
  
• Experience with manual and CNC machining
  
  
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining problems
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  
  
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred

• CNC programming experience
  
  
• CMM/metrology experience
  
  
• CAD/CAM, SPC, or ERP experience
  
  
• Technical degree or diploma
  
  
• Leadership or training experience

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
