We are seeking a dedicated Telehealth Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team at Trinidad Behavioral Health Center. Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing you to manage your schedule flexibly while providing therapy to clients across multiple geographical locations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' relational dynamics, emotional conflicts, and therapeutic needs, including diagnostic evaluations and family histories.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that outline clear, achievable goals based on client assessments and ongoing feedback, utilizing evidence-based practices and best practices in family systems therapy.
• Utilize systemic intervention techniques to address relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and external stressors affecting the family structure.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support when necessary, ensuring clients' safety during high-risk situations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate clients on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution skills, and coping strategies to enhance their overall emotional well-being and strengthen their relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, making referrals to specialists or additional services when necessary.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy and telehealth practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clients will include individuals and families experiencing a range of issues such as marital conflicts, parenting challenges, grief, and trauma. You will work with diverse populations, and a cultural competence approach is crucial to delivering effective therapy. The ability to adapt your therapeutic style to meet the unique needs of each client group is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for conducting therapy sessions and maintaining client records.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suitable for virtual settings.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices and the confidentiality of client information.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and organization.
• Flexibility to accommodate client scheduling across different time zones.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy services preferred, especially in a remote clinical environment.
• Proven experience in crisis intervention and stabilization techniques.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and their application in family therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year. The compensation package also includes a sign-on bonus to incentivize qualified candidates.
