Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals in Center City Philadelphia is hiring for a secret shopper to visit assigned establishments as regular customers and provide objective feedback regarding customer service and employee compliance. These establishments have signed up to participate in the program.


This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have strong observational skills and can provide accurate, professional feedback. Assignments are scheduled based on client needs and may take place during peak or off-peak hours.


Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned establishments as a regular customer and order designated food, beverages or tobacco according to assignment instructions.
- Monitor ID Compliance: Document whether employees properly request and verify identification when required.
- Conduct Transaction Integrity Checks: Pay close attention to whether all food and beverage items ordered are properly entered and rung through the point-of-sale system.
- Document the Experience: Accurately recall employee names or descriptions, service times, transactions, and other details without drawing attention to the evaluation.
- Complete Reports: Submit detailed, objective evaluation reports within established deadlines and upload itemized receipts or other required documentation.


Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (NO older than 25) and legally permitted to purchase alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
• Must have own car for transportation to multiple sites daily.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, factual, and accurate reports.
• Ability to remember specific interactions, employee names/descriptions, timing, and transaction details.
• Must be discreet and able to complete assignments without identifying yourself as an evaluator.

Compensation - $20 per hour and 50c per mile reimbursement. Travel times generously allow for estimated traffic and transaction times. Typical assignments are estimated at 5 hours.
