New Journeys Supported Education & Employment (SEE) SpecialistPosition at Clarvida - WashingtonNew Journeys Supported Education & Employment (SEE) Specialist Location: Tacoma, Puyallup, Lakewood, Washington (Hybrid / Community-based) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $20–$24/hourAbout the RoleClarvida is seeking a New Journeys Supported Education & Employment (SEE) Specialist to support Medicaid clients ages 15–40 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. In this role, you will help clients identify their strengths, interests, and goals related to education and employment, and support them in building the skills needed to obtain and maintain meaningful placements.You will work closely with clients to address barriers such as anxiety, depression, scheduling challenges, transportation, and financial limitations. This position blends advocacy, case management, and skills coaching to create real, measurable impact in clients' lives.ResponsibilitiesSupport clients ages 15–40 experiencing a first episode of psychosis Identify client strengths, interests, capabilities, and employment/education goals Assist with resume development, interview preparation, and job readiness skills Support clients in managing anxiety, depression, anger, and other challenges related to work or school Provide ongoing support to help clients maintain placements or overcome barriers Advocate for clients with employers, schools, and community partners Coordinate services and resources related to education and employment Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program standardsRequirementsOne of the following:Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Services, or a related field with experience providing supported employment/education or similar servicesCertified Employment Support Professional (CESP) with at least one (1) year of demonstrated experienceCertified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) with at least one (1) year of demonstrated experienceFour (4) or more years of experience providing supported employment, education, independent living assistance, or similar serviceEligible to become a Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor through the Washington Department of HealthValid Washington Driver's License, active auto insurance, and proof of educationAbility to pass state and federal background checksCompensation & BenefitsFull-Time EmployeesCompetitive pay at $20–$24/hour Flexible 40-hour workweek with a schedule you help create Paid vacation days that increase with tenure Separate sick leave that rolls over annually Up to 10 paid holidays* Medical, dental, and vision insurance options DailyPay – access earned wages without waiting for payday* Training, development, and continuing education credits for licensure requirementsAll Employees401(k) Free licensure supervision Pet insurance Employee Assistance Program National discounts on shopping, travel, Verizon, and entertainment Mileage reimbursement* Cell phone stipend**Benefit availability may vary by state/county.Work LocationHybrid – work from home with travel to clients in Pierce County (Washington)Employment TypeFull-timeEqual Opportunity StatementClarvida is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
