Luxury Director of MICE

A rapidly growing international luxury hospitality organization is seeking an accomplished Director of Global MICE Sales to lead one of its most strategic and revenue-generating business divisions. This executive will oversee a global Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events (MICE) sales organization while driving new business across an expanding portfolio of luxury resort destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, and other international markets. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly connected business development leader who thrives on building relationships, opening new markets, and leading high-performing sales teams. Director of MICE Responsibilities: Develop and execute the global MICE sales strategy. Generate new business through existing relationships with corporate meeting planners, incentive houses, destination management companies (DMCs), event agencies, and association planners. Expand market share and grow revenue across an international luxury resort portfolio. Lead, mentor, and develop an international team of approximately 10–15 sales professionals. Travel globally to meet clients, support sales teams, attend industry events, and strengthen strategic partnerships. Negotiate high-value group contracts and incentive programs. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive long-term commercial growth. Forecast revenue, monitor KPIs, and identify new business opportunities. Director of MICE Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive sales and business development experience within MICE, luxury hospitality, destination management, luxury travel, or the meetings and events industry. 5+ years leading high-performing sales teams. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Proven track record of generating multimillion-dollar MICE or group sales revenue. Established relationships with corporate meeting planners, incentive houses, DMCs, event agencies, and key decision-makers within the meetings and events industry. Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills. Willingness to travel internationally approximately 75% of the time. Director of MICE Experience: Luxury hospitality or luxury travel. Resort portfolio or multi-destination sales. Global or National Sales leadership. Experience with Salesforce, Delphi, Cvent, or similar CRM platforms.
