Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Prairieville, LA. The position runs from June 1 to July 16, with part-time hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at a single elementary campus.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) licensure as a School Psychologist
Previous experience in school-based psychological services for children in PreK-8 settings preferred
Ability to complete a district background check and fingerprinting prior to start date
Strong interpersonal communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability
Openness to teletherapy (VOCO) if needed

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support as needed
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized student plans
Offer consultation on classroom strategies and interventions to promote positive learning environments
Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in line with school district protocols
