Pharmacy Technician - 13-Week Contract Location: State College, Pennsylvania Facility: Mount Nittany Medical Center Department: Pharmacy Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Start Date: August 17, 2026 Schedule: 40 Hours per Week | 10-Hour Shifts | Rotating Weekends Position Overview Mount Nittany Medical Center is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join its hospital pharmacy team on a 13-week contract assignment. Working under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician will assist with medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and other pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare, package, and distribute medications accurately under pharmacist supervision. Assist with medication dispensing and inventory management. Maintain medication storage areas and ensure proper stock levels. Process medication orders using the facility's electronic medical record system. Support pharmacists in daily operational workflows while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and state regulations. Deliver exceptional service to patients and healthcare staff through accurate and timely pharmacy support. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required. Current Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy is required. Active Pennsylvania license must be in good standing at the time of submission. Experience using Meditech EMR is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment. Assignment Details 13-week contract 40 guaranteed hours per week 10-hour shifts Available shift options: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

10:15 AM - 8:45 PM
