Family Law Attorney

Family Law Attorney (3-5+ Years Experience)Location: Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Area (Hybrid) A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its busy and respected practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to gain significant hands-on experience, manage a diverse family law caseload, and work closely with an experienced partner in a high-volume practice. Responsibilities Handle a variety of family law matters, including: Divorce and dissolution proceedings Child custody and parenting time matters Child support and spousal maintenance issues Post-decree motions and modifications Other family law-related proceedings Draft legal pleadings, motions, and related documents Conduct legal research and case analysis Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and negotiations Manage cases from intake through resolution Maintain strong client communication and provide strategic legal counsel Meet deadlines and effectively manage a busy caseload Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Minnesota, or eligible for admission Approximately 3-5 years of family law experience preferred Attorneys with greater experience will also be considered Recent graduates who have passed the bar and possess relevant clerkship or family law experience are encouraged to apply Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong commitment to client service Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $115,000-$125,000+, depending on experience Additional compensation available for highly qualified candidates Performance-based bonus opportunity tied to billable hours Comprehensive benefits package Partnership track opportunity for qualified attorneys Work Arrangement Hybrid schedule available Typically 3 days in office and 2 days remote Additional flexibility may be available based on performance and business needs All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
