Operational Support Associate - DC - Days

What You Will Do As a Logistics Team Member you will ensure all product inbound, stocked, and shipped is accurate in terms of case dimensions, quantity, inner pack quantity, selling units, I2 of 5, UPC, description, and packaging. You will audit and inspect product daily to determine vendor compliance and recommend new packaging/handling requirements to improve safety and damage control. You will ensure all stock and non‑stock returns are completed accurately and timely and communicate all logistic issues to the General Office. You may be required to work in other departments as needed. Other duties are determined by the Manager on duty or the Planning Coach. What We're Looking For Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on facility needs. Availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending on shift and overtime based on facility needs. Experience working in a distribution/warehouse environment with associated physical and environmental aspects. Able to lift at least 25 pounds; ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Travel is not required. What You Need To Succeed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated track record of good attendance. Basic math and reading comprehension skills. Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office. If internal, no written warnings within last 6 months or final warnings within last 12 months. Preferred Qualifications Post‑secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation or related field. Experience in a customer service role. Experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems. Experience in distribution center operations. Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or data management system (Lowe’s DMS preferred). Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring strong ability to prioritize and manage time. Previous power equipment experience (e.g. Reach truck or RC truck).
