Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and maintain a caseload of clients, establishing trust and rapport while upholding professional ethics and boundaries at all times.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, stability, and trends, facilitating discussions around upcoming appointments and discharge planning when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and regularly evaluate person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain thorough documentation through timely progress notes and intake assessments for each client, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating competency in providing individual and family psychotherapy.

• Proficient in the use of various digital tools and software relevant to counseling, including RMS systems, Excel spreadsheets, and communication platforms.

• Experience in performing intake assessments and crafting treatment plans designed to meet the specific needs of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While the primary qualifications are essential, candidates with extensive experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), will be favorably considered.
