Position Overview

We invite you to become part of an expanding group of imaging professionals as a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technician. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each procedure, offering clear and compassionate explanations
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the provision of high-quality diagnostic images
• Oversee and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
