As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be a key player in maintaining high standards from start to finish:

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specs to define inspection criteria
• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods
• Use precision tools like calipers and micrometers to validate measurements
• Conduct detailed visual inspections to catch defects and nonconformities
• Approve or reject parts based on compliance—and support rework when needed
• Accurately document results and enter data into SAP and reporting systems
• Maintain and verify calibration of inspection and measurement equipment
• Partner with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to resolve quality issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, safety standards, and internal procedures

We’re looking for quality professionals who thrive in fast-paced, detail-intensive environments:

• ✔️ Experience in quality inspection, QA, or QC within manufacturing
• ✔️ Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• ✔️ Hands-on proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• ✔️ Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality systems
• ✔️ Experience with SAP, Excel, and data reporting tools
• ✔️ Understanding of metric measurements and geometric tolerancing
• ✔️ Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• ✔️ Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• ✔️ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• ASQ or similar quality certification
• Experience with ISO audits and compliance practices
• Background in continuous improvement initiatives

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
